Father's Day 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

I have decided to make my husband another father's day gift. Yes, he is going to have several "homemade gifts" this year. You can click on Picture Puzzle to view the other gift.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 is one of my favorite verses. I tweaked the verse a little so every time the verse is written with the word "love" or "it" I changed it to dad.

My DAD
Dad is patient and kind.
Dad is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.
Dad does not demand its own way.
Dad is not irritable, and he keeps no record of being wronged.
Dad does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
Dad never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
Adapted from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

This verse is EXACTLY like my husband. So blessed to have married such a wonderful man and father to our children.

I printed this verse on card stock paper, had my oldest disciple paint it with water colors, then glued a picture at the bottom. I think it looks great in the frame and after he opens it, I plan on putting it on his dresser.

Happy Father's Day!
