Genesis 1:9-13 Then God said, "Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear." And that is what happened. God called the dry ground "land" and the waters "seas." And God saw that it was good. Then God said, "Let the land sprout with vegetation- every sort of seed-bearing plant, and trees from which they came." And that is what happened. The land produced vegetation- all sorts of seed-bearing plants, and trees with seed-bearing fruit. Their seeds produced plants and trees of the same kind. And God saw that it was good. And evening passed and morning came, marking the third day.
We put up our 3rd picture on the yarn from biblestoryprintables. You can view the details from Day 1.
Then we planted flowers in recyclable tin cans.
Drill holes on the bottom of the can. |
This will help the water drain. |
We painted the cans using many different colors. We sprinkled glitter on the cans when the paint was still wet. Glitter makes everything prettier:) |
Perfect for our table outside! |
In the evening we colored our coloring sheet.
This is the song for Day 3 from www.dltk-bible website.
Seven Days of Creation Song
(Tune of "Are You Sleeping Brother John")
God created. God created.
Land and Plants. Land and Plants.
That was on the third day. That was on the third day.
It was good. It was good.
Land and Plants. Land and Plants.
That was on the third day. That was on the third day.
It was good. It was good.
Snack ideas- Make flowers and plants with pretzel sticks for the stems, fruit for the flower
